Cecilia’s class was “A lot of fun and a great challenge”
I happened upon this studio driving back from work, I live about a 10 min walk from there and I had always wanted to do an actual Pilates class so I gave them a call. I paid for my intro one on one class (which gave me two free group classes). I really loved the workout, I am an avid gym goer and the moves felt totally natural and challenging without the feeling like I was straining myself. I hurt like hell the next day and I was so happy about it! I decided to sign up for 10 classes so I go once a week now, I really look forward to it. I have been going for about a month now and I can feel the change in my body’s tone as well as my posture (I sit hunched over a desk all day, or used to at least). The studio itself is so pretty and calming, the atmosphere is really friendly and above all it is clean. I would recommend this studio to anyone, Cecile is really helpful with putting you into the best class for your goals and ability.
I discovered Pilates a few years ago when I had back problems. Cecilia (who owns Vega Power Pilates) is an experienced Pilates instructor and offers a wide variety of classes (matwork, reformer etc …). Because it is a small size group, she is able to focus on every student. Over the last 3 years, she helps me a lot to strengthen my core muscles and improve my flexibility. More than being a good instructor, she is a very enthusiastic person and it is always a pleasure to attend her classes!
Both my doctor and physiotherapist recommended I start Pilates when I was recovering from a back problem that developed about 3 years ago. The doctor stressed the importance of a certified instructor. Cecilia came highly recommended. I started with private sessions and then took her classes on mat and reformer. I have never had any more problems with my back since starting Pilates, and I am so happy with Cecilia as my instructor. She is very patient with her more awkward clients. (That would be me!) I would definitely recommend Vega Power Pilates to anyone interested in improving their strength and health.
About one year ago, I decided to try out Pilates. I did my homework, researching countless studios in the GTA. I selected Vega Power Pilates because of their solid reputation, convenient location, and boutique-style studio. Cecilia Vega, Director of Vega Power Pilates, makes you feel immediately at home. I was a little apprehensive about beginning a new workout routine due to a medical condition. Cecilia put my fears at ease. I was fortunate enough to work with her during my private sessions for about two months. After that time, I felt comfortable enough to join a variety of group classes taught by Cecilia and her other instructors. The classes are intense, varied, and goal-oriented
Pilates reformer is a fantastic workout and I can do it during the lunch hour without breaking a sweat!
Have recently been to a power Pilates class in London UK , and was amazed how poorly classes were run in comparison. Love my Pilates with Cecilia!!
I love Cecilia’s classes. There is a lot of variety and the workouts are very energetic. Quite different from the other studios I’ve attended where the workouts felt more like yoga style and very slow. I’ve been doing Pilates three times a week and have seen the results very quickly.
I am currently taking private reformer sessions at Vega Power Pilates . I have trained with Cecilia and Jemark and they each are extremely thorough and knowledgeable in their unique style of instruction. I am very satisfied with the progress I am making and highly recommend this studio.
Glad to find Vega Power Pilates in my neighborhood – easy walk. Cecilia was helpful providing a tour of the studio and classes/services. I have started back to Pilates after a 2 year break due to injury/disability and Alex is an excellent private instructor. Alex is very knowledgeable regarding anatomy to provide a full workout despite a disability. I’ll be back !
